mon vers se tourne
vers la vague.

Je ne puis m’empêcher
de te chanter,
mille fois mille,
mille fois, ô vague,
fiancée fugitive de l’océan :
vénus verte,
élancée
tu hisses ta cloche,
et de là-haut,
tu laisses tomber
des lys.

Ô lame
Incessante
secouée
par
la
solitude
du vent,
érigée comme une
statue
transparente
mille fois mille
cristallisée, cristalline,
et puis
tout le sel à terre :
le mouvement
se fait écume
puis de l’écume la mer
se reconstruit
et de nouveau ressurgit la turgescence.

Et de nouveau,
cheval,
pure jument
cyclonique
et ailée
la crinière ardente de blancheur
dans l’ire de l’air
en mouvement,
tu glisses, tu bondis, tu cours,
conduisant le traineau
de la neige marine.

Vague, vague, vague,
mille fois mille
vaincue, mille
fois mille dressée
et déversée :
vive

It's been a while since we've played 20 questions for #TextureTuesday so here ya go! I did several crops for this and decided on the middle ground.

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe..."

This is a dramatic black-and-white close-up photograph of a Maine Coon cat’s face. The cat is lying down and looking straight at the camera with a calm, slightly curious expression. Its large, almond-shaped eyes are wide open and catch the light, giving them a bright, reflective glow. The cat has the classic Maine Coon features: very long, thick fur with distinct dark tabby stripes running down the forehead and across the cheeks, prominent white tufts of fur inside the ears, and long, pointed ear tips with extra tufts of fur sticking out. Long, thin white whiskers fan out from its muzzle. One large, furry paw is resting in the foreground on a dark, soft surface, showing the thick pads and fluffy fur around it. The background is a smooth, gradient gray, keeping all attention on the cat’s expressive face.
